About HMFH Architects, Inc.
HMFH has been helping charter schools and other innovative programs give form to their educational programs since 1969. Big ideas. Limited budgets. Recycled spaces. Charter schools face a series of unique challenges in realizing their visions. From HMFH’s first school design 40 years ago to its more recent work, including a thoroughly renovated 1890 mill building for the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School, HMFH has focused its practice on the design of exceptional and unique environments for learning. We believe that the most critical measure of success for a new school building or campus is not the design awards it garners, but in the positive energy it generates for the teachers and students engaged in discovery and exploration within.
