Destin Bundu, of Easton and a senior at City on a Hill Dudley Square, received the Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship on May 23 at the State House.
The Herter Scholarship is a state-sponsored scholarship program that is awarded to 25 high school students. The scholarships are awarded to students that have overcome significant adversity in their lives and demonstrate leadership and strong academic potential.
“Destin is an outstanding young man and is well-deserving of this scholarship,” said State Rep. Claire D. Cronin, D-Easton. “I am so impressed by Destin and his accomplishments. I have no doubt that he will do great things in the future.”
