US News and World Report High School Rankings 2025

 U.S. News and World Report released their annual ranking of public high schools. Once again, Massachusetts has more public high schools ranked in the top quarter than any other state in the country. MCPSA member schools represent 11 of the top 100 public high schools in the Commonwealth, with one school – Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School – ranking among the top 100 public high schools in the country.

The 2025-2026 national public high school rankings were based on data points such as student achievement on state tests, graduation rates, and college readiness measures, including student participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams – with a focus on evaluating how well schools serve all students, including underserved populations.
