Ten AMSA Students recognized for Academic Excellence

Ten students from The Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School were recently honored as among the brightest young students in the nation at a statewide awards ceremony for gifted children sponsored by The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Eldridge D’Souza,  Shrewsbury, Pranav Gopan, Marlboro, Sravya Gurivireddygari, Shrewsbury, Suprabhat Gurrala, Grafton, Tejasvi Nareddy, Grafton, Leela Puli, Grafton, Amol Punjabi, Northboro, Nathaniel Rowe, Natick, Ashwin ShivaShankar, Shrewsbury, and Anton Averev, from Framingham, participants in the 2011 CTY Talent Search, received High Honor Certificate for SAT/ACT for their exceptional performance on a rigorous, above-grade-level test given to academically talented second through eighth grade students.
