Marlborough charter school ranked among the best in the state

MARLBOROUGH —A Marlborough charter school was ranked as one of the best high schools in the state in a recent ranking from U.S. News. 

The Advanced Math and Science Academy was ranked as the third best high school in Massachusetts, according to the report. The school was one of 71 in the state to make U.S. News' rankings. 
The charter school, which opened in 2005, was also given a national ranking of 130 and a charter school ranking of 32.  The only two Massachusetts schools coming in ahead of AMSA were Sturgis Charter Public School in Hyannis and Boston Latin School in Boston.
