FOXBOROUGH — State Rep. Geoff Diehl, the endorsed Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, announced that Briana Serradas, of Foxborough, will be joining his growing team as an intern.

Serradas will be part of a cast of interns and volunteers working on community outreach as Diehl works to defeat U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Serradas is a rising sophomore at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she studies political science and English. A graduate of Foxborough Regional Charter School, she enjoys discussing politics with her brother, Benjamin, and mother, Cristina. When not keeping up with the news, Serradas is in the courtroom as the closer of the Vassar Mock Trial team or debating as a member of the Vassar College Republicans.

Diehl currently represents the 7th Plymouth District after winning the seat in 2010. He recently won the endorsement of Republican Party at the GOP Convention on April 28.
