Foxborough Regional Charter School Awarded Gold-Level Wellness Award

The Massachusetts Departments of Public Health and Elementary and Secondary Education honored Foxborough Regional Charter School with the 2011 Gold-Level Award for outstanding commitment to health awareness, programming and achievement in the areas of School Health Policies, Health Education, Physical Education, Physical Activity, Nutrition, Staff Wellness and Tobacco Prevention.

Foxborough Regional Charter School was one of only two winning schools that received a Gold Level Massachusetts School Wellness Award. The award was presented at the MA Association of School Superintendents (MASS) Annual Joint Conference on November 9, 2011, in Hyannis. The awards ceremony kicked off the keynote dinner and exemplified the importance of building 21st Century Skills and focusing on College Readiness.
