School psychologists design intervention programs to help students get back on track, evaluate them for special services, & review testing data. The Psychologist may offer therapeutic services to students with emotional/behavioral difficulties. The Psychologist plays an essential role in the evaluation process and may serve as a Team Chair in initial and 3-year re-evaluation meetings.
- The Instructional Leader for Math, Science, and Technology works closely with the school principal and the Instructional Leader for Humanities to assure that Sizer School develops, implements, and maintains an engaging essential curriculum, highly effective teaching and learning, assessments that support learning, and programing that is consistent with the school’s mission and 10 Common Principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools.

The School Leader position will facilitate a culture of constant learning and collaboration with students, instructional staff, families, and community members. The School Leader will coach and lead individuals and teams, serve as a model teacher, and further develop systems and protocols to ensure that academic achievement and school culture consistently reflects the values and goals of KIPP MA Schools.
Elementary Inclusion Teachers at KIPP Massachusetts ensure that all our students are growing and achieving by providing students with a variety of supports. Most Interventionists co-teach in either Math or Reading classes, co-planning lessons and units with the Lead Math or Reading Teacher and conferencing with individual or small groups of students who need additional scaffolding and practice to master that day’s AIM.
