For this important role, MCPSA seeks a leader who will be agile and adaptive in the face of a complex and changing educational landscape, a passionate advocate and coalition builder, and a tireless champion for the member schools and their individual and collective goals. The successful candidate will have deep roots in education reform, advocacy work, or, ideally, both. While classroom experience is not essential, the Board expects the new Executive Director will have meaningful ties to and feel passionately about guaranteeing access to a high-quality educational experience for all of the Commonwealth’s students. Experience and/or familiarity with Massachusetts’ public education system would be beneficial.
